Ingredients
- 1 lb. kabocha, sliced into ⅓ inch thick crescent pieces
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp grated garlic
- 2 Tbsps vinegar
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to season
Instructions
- Soak thinly sliced onion in water for 10 minutes or more. Meanwhile, boil kabocha in a large pot until softened.
- Drain kabocha and sprinkle some salt over them and cool.
- Mix vinegar, vegetable oil, and garlic in a bowl to make dressing.
- Drain onion slices and squeeze them to remove excess water.
- Put kabocha and onion in a bowl and pour the dressing.
- Put kabocha and onion in a bowl and pour the dressing.
- Adjust the flavor with salt and pepper.
